Position Overview
As the Social Media Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping our brand identity in the digital space. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ideate, implement, and manage our social media campaigns, ensuring consistent brand messaging across various platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our overall marketing objectives and enhances brand visibility.
- Manage and optimize Amazon’s social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok, to maximize engagement and audience reach.
- Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, and written) that is consistent with our brand voice and resonates with our target audience.
- Monitor social media trends, tools, and best practices, and adjust strategies to leverage emerging trends.
- Engage with our online communities, responding to customer inquiries and building relationships through thoughtful interactions.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and provide monthly reports to management, detailing the effectiveness of campaigns and suggesting improvements.
- Collaborate with the marketing, PR, and product teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all platforms.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Conduct regular audits of social media channels and recommend improvements based on best practices and audience insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role (3+ years preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, analytics, and management tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on content creation.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret performance data.
- Experience with graphic design software and video editing tools is a plus.
- Proven ability to drive social media strategies in alignment with marketing goals.
